How Our LDQR Petrol Pump Payment System Works

The system is designed around the actual fueling journey, making the payment process easier for both customers and fuel-station operators. Trace the complete transaction cycle below.

01. Fueling Starts

The terminal remains in a secure IDLE state until a fueling transaction begins. The instant a dispenser nozzle is lifted, the dispenser communicates with the terminal to initialize the billing session.

Dispenser Standby Mode

02. Live Fueling Information

During the fueling process, the system queries transaction metrics in real-time, displaying fuel amount and volume directly on the customer-facing terminal display for complete purchase visibility.

Live RS485 Data Exchange

03. Final Amount is Determined

Once fueling completes and the dispenser nozzle is replaced, the terminal locks the final calculated parameters. The dispenser submits the finalized price payload to the local processor.

Transaction Amount Locked

04. LDQR is Presented

The terminal compiles the locked amount and generates a unique, transaction-specific dynamic QR code. It renders this directly on the screen, ready to accept scan commands.

Dynamic QR Generated

05. Customer Makes Payment

The customer uses their preferred payment application (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or BHIM UPI) to scan the display QR code. No manual amount entry is required, eliminating operator error.

No Manual Input Needed

06. Payment Status is Verified

The local LDQR application polls the configured bank acquiring APIs to fetch the real-time transaction state. It evaluates the network status return callback secure token.

Bank Gateway API Loop

07. Confirmation is Displayed

Upon receiving a successful bank status payload, the customer-facing terminal flashes a success screen. The transaction closes out and the dispenser resets for the next driver.

One System. Three Connected Layers.

Our LDQR solution brings together the three critical elements of a modern fuel-station payment workflow to secure transaction integrity.

Layer 1

Fueling Layer

Establishes physical integration with dispenser control boards over serial networks using industrial RS485 communication protocols. Relays real-time raw pulse metrics, transaction statuses, and dispenser states to the processing unit.

Layer 2

LDQR Terminal Layer

The central computing node powered by an embedded Linux platform running proprietary transaction orchestration software. It processes dispenser logs, coordinates payment payloads, renders high-brightness display outputs, and manages user state flows.

Layer 3

Payment Integration Layer

Communicates directly with financial merchant banking networks, acquiring bank servers, or payment gateways through secure low-latency API call structures. This layer resolves authorization state checks (Success, Failed, Pending) and pushes real-time callbacks to Layer 2.

What is the LDQR Terminal?

The customer-facing payment unit that sits between the petrol-pump transaction dispenser and digital UPI checkout apps, packed with robust industrial-grade features.

Embedded Linux Board

Industrial processing unit built to run continuous service loop scripts, interface local drivers, and handle forecourt network noise.

LDQR Payment Software

Dedicated processing script that tracks dispenser statuses, controls screen updates, and handles secure payment payloads.

Customer HMI Display

High-brightness outdoor display, legible in direct sunlight, providing a guided interactive walkthrough for consumers.

RS485 Connectivity

Industrial serial standard ensuring consistent, noise-tolerant communication with major dispenser fuel pump protocols.
