We began with a complete crawl of the legacy FileNet platform to establish a content inventory. This audit mapped metadata structures, workflow dependencies, custom database fields, and security groups to identify issues prior to extraction.
We replaced legacy folder hierarchies with dynamic SharePoint Site Collections, logical Document Libraries, unified Content Types, and Managed Metadata Term Stores. This improved directory scalability and ease of discovery.
